Dear HOST FAMILIES in Delphos,

Also in name of the German students and their parents, the Verl-Delphos Friendship Link organization would like to thank our American friends for hosting the German students in the recent exchange season and for making them feel at home in Delphos. We'd especially like to thank Ginger Denman for the organization of the students' stay and for all the work that she has done, is still doing, and will do in the future for the student exchange. A big hug to you, Ginger!

But we'd also like to point out to all the American parents in Delphos that the student exchange needn't be a one way street. Your children are always welcome to come to Germany and to stay in host families here. We'd really be happy if you sent them over to the land of your ancestors to experience the "German way of life", like our students got a wonderful impression of the "American way of life" when they stayed in Delphos.

...by the way, the next exchange season is approaching and the portraits of the 2012 students are available at Ginger's house. So have you already thought about hosting a German student again next fall? We'd be very happy to welcome you back in the group of host families! Please also tell your friends, relatives and neighbors about the experiences with your German guest which, I hope, were only positive, and ask them if they could imagine hosting a young person from the German sister city of Delphos in their homes in the next exchange season.
